Why Labour lost in 2015
And what we need to do to win again
Since May, there have been a load of studies on why Labour lost the General Election. They've spoken to tens of thousands of people in person, over the phone and online. But, whichever one you read, three reasons keep cropping up:
1. People didn’t trust us with the economy.
2. People didn’t trust us on social security

Voters thought we were similar to the Tories? Nope.

There are so many theories on why we lost the General Election. One is incredibly popular - but completely wrong:
That people didn’t vote for us because we were too similar to the Tories.
How do we know it’s wrong? Because when you ask voters why they didn’t vote Labour, they don’t mention it. And even when voters are asked . . .

1. We offer Labour supporters something to make their lives better - and want to make their lives better
